Lots of great jazz tunes, into the hot or out of the cool to borrow a
phrase.

new charts include a remake of “I’m Coming, Virginia in the New
Bottle, Old Wine fashion perfected by gil Evans, and this is my
attempt at that idea.
as well as a take on Caravan by juan Tizol (using his form of the tune
rather than what it’s been morphed into over the decades)
and a new original “ballad for the Bush”
from a lost heap of sketches I made some years ago entitled “Outback
Music”
it disappeared when an old computer carked it, but i’m reconstructing
some of the pieces that still linger in the mind.
come along and enjoy our near-Christmas gig,
booking advisable.

see you there,
