Schroder’s Big Band at Kelvin next Tuesday

The Kelvin Club (Melbourne Place, off Russell St, between Bourke & Lt
Collins on the east side)

9 pm Big band set

10 charts including “A Change is Gonna Com and e” (Sam Cooke, soul/
gospel) “Little Rootie Tootie” (Thelonius monk)
Along with recent additions to the repertoire “The Champ” (Dizzy
Gillespie” and “The Meaning of the Blues” (bobby Troupe, using the
arrangement by Gil Evans for Miles Davis’ rendition of this moody piece)
Also charts by schroder of originals, some Basie, some Ellington or
his sidekicks , lots of fun.
